Sony has always been a go-to brand for people who don't mind paying more for HDTVs, or just about anything else for that matter, and the company's least-expensive 2008 32-inch HDTV, the KDL-32M4000, exemplifies the trend.

This little set costs a couple of hundred dollars more than no-name LCDs, and generally a hundred more than competing name-brand sets such as the Samsung LN32A450 and the Sharp LC-32D44U.

For your extra cash, you'll get great design and, yes, very good picture quality for the smaller HDTV category, but we don't think, for most people, that going Sony at this size is worth the price.

SMS messaging via Jaxtr is completely free and is independent of the cellular service provider. When a member adds their jaxtr link to their email signature, friends and family can call them from their regular phone from anywhere in the world without paying expensive international toll charges. Family and friends simply click on the member's jaxtr link to generate a local number in their country.

Google is looking to partner with H3tec on their detection technology within mobile phones.

The H3 detector could save lives in food safety, security, military and medical applications. This year alone, the company has won Utah Best of State for Inventor, and was a Finalist in the Stoel Rives/Utah Technology Council Utah Innovation Award in the Material Science/Chemistry group wrote Jordan McCollum at Marketing Pilgrim.

Google is looking for you to share your stories on how you use Gmail in a 30 second or less video. The criteria for posting stories is as follows.
1. 30 seconds maximum
2. Make sure your audio is set up correctly (so that you're heard)
3. Get creative
4. Tell a story about how Gmail has impacted you.
5. Play nice - don't trash other email providers that you used before Gmail.
6. Make sure your video doesn't violate any copyright laws and complies with Gmail and YouTube's terms.

But pinning your stories on the walls around Google hasn't been the best way to share them with the Gmail community, so share yours with the world. All you need is a video camera and a great story. Feel free to get creative with special effects or choreography or just tell it like it is.

Just keep the story in 30 seconds or less (what are you supposed to say in 30 seconds, Gmail, you rock! I love you and do a little interpretive dance?) and if creativity’s your thing, don’t shy away from it. And then you’ll live happily ever after.
